The gap

Most teams aren't short on talent. They're under-trained on it.

Work goes to whoever has time.

Not to whoever is wired for it. Energy drains and good people stall.

Friction gets read as attitude.

Two strong people clash and it looks personal. Usually it's two different talents with no shared language.

Leaders coach one way.

One playbook for everyone fits almost no one. The best managers coach each person to how they're built.

The cost

What under-used talent costs you.

Move the sliders to match your team. The math is simple, and it's your numbers.

a year in payroll goes to work your people aren't wired for.

Shift even a third of that time back into their strengths and you recover $114,000 in capacity every year.

People × salary × share of time. Your inputs, not a benchmark.

The method

Train a team like you'd train an athlete.

Every program runs the same 12-week cycle. You see where you started and how far you moved.

Weeks 0–2

Assess

Everyone takes CliftonStrengths® 34 and gets a 1:1 debrief. People learn their own wiring first.

Week 3

Map

A half-day session builds the team map: who leads where, natural partners, real gaps.

Weeks 4–12

Train

Leader coaching and monthly team sessions put strengths to work on roles, decisions and conflict.

Week 12

Re-test

The team retakes the Team Strength Index. You get a results report and a plan to keep going.

What you keep

Not a workshop you forget. Tools your team uses every week.

Team strengths map

Everyone's talents on one page, so the team can see where it leads and where it's thin.

Partnership guide

Named pairs for real work, so one person's blind spot is covered by someone else's strength.

Team charter

A one-page agreement on how the team decides, disagrees and asks for help.

90-day results report

Starting and ending scores, progress on each goal, and what to protect next.

Programs

Three ways to work together.

Fixed scope, fixed fee, virtual or in person. Every program starts with a free 30-minute consult.

How strong is your team, really?

Ten questions. A score out of 100, the domain your team leads with, its blind spot, and what David would train first.

Your coach

Certified in how people work. Focused on how teams perform.

David Leonard is a Gallup-Certified CliftonStrengths® coach, an MBTI® Certified Practitioner and a SHRM-certified HR professional. He works with leaders and teams who want measurable gains in how they collaborate, decide and deliver.

His career began in strength and conditioning, where every program starts with an assessment and ends with a re-test. He brings the same discipline to teams: measure the starting point, train with a plan, and show the change.

Early in his own career, David had no coach or mentor to point out his blind spots. That's why his work is built to leave leaders able to coach themselves long after the engagement ends.

"Mentors are great. Coaches help. But you are the most consistent voice in your own life."

Questions

Before you book.

We already did StrengthsFinder. Why do it again?

Most teams take it, read the report and file it away. David's work starts where the report ends: using the results in roles, pairings and meetings. If your people already have their full CliftonStrengths 34 results, they use those.

How much of my team's time does it take?

For the Accelerator, each person spends about 45 minutes on the assessment, 45 minutes in a 1:1, a half-day session and three 90-minute team sessions over 12 weeks.

Is this a personality test?

No. CliftonStrengths measures natural patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving, and ranks them. It's for development, and it is never used for hiring, performance ratings or pay decisions.

Do you only use CliftonStrengths?

CliftonStrengths is the core of every program. David is also an MBTI® Certified Practitioner, so where communication style or conflict is the issue, he can add the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® alongside it.

What stays confidential?

What you say in a 1:1 stays between you and David. Leaders see goals, attendance and the team-level map, which the team builds together.

Virtual or in person?

Both. Programs run virtually by default. Half-day and full-day sessions can be in person.

What does it cost?

Every program has a fixed fee scoped to your team. After a 30-minute consult, you get a written price within two business days.
